Zac received his Masters Degree at the Optional-Residency Creative Writing Program at UBC and is honored to currently teach there. He is currently a Lecturer in Film and TV Writing. The graduate program at UBC requires students to work in more than just the genre they want to pursue. Zac specialized in screenwriting and learned an enormous amount about dialogue from the poetry classes, about action writing from graphic novel classes and about truth from writing creative non-fiction. Zac and UBC worked together at the School of Creative Writing to create two courses about writing romantic comedies. Both are five-week sessions, self-guided, affordable, and lead students through writing an outline and then the script itself.
